It's Official !!!

**

As of 11:30am today we are no longer

the owners of the house in

Greenbrier ! ! !

**

After 2 years of trying to sell the place

the right buyers came along and

it is a done deal ! No more trips to

Greenbrier to fix this or that. .

Tom will no longer have to spend a day

grading the driveway and we will no longer

have to go out there to mow and take

care of the yard .

WE ARE DONE !!

Monday

It has been a while since my last post

Not much going on -- just hot and humid here

Serena's camera is acting up so I have no new pictures of Jack..

I am going thru withdrawal !!!

I want to go visit but - flights are always full and gas prices

are INSANE !!!

As usual summer is here and I am hiding in the house.

This weather SUCKS ! I never thought I would say these words.
"I HATE SUMMER"

I don't know how Tom is able to work outside in this heat.

I wish the city had a better central station for him to work at,

one that has a few modern features.. A/C - being the main one.

Some nice lifts , so he would not have to go in the pit to work

on the fire trucks.. Ahh dreams..

Maybe we will win the lottery (HAHAHAHAHAHA)

and he can pack it up and retire . Wouldn't that be nice.

But 1st Arkansas would have to legalize a lottery here--

but they won't becausethey are afraid it will be less money

for the churches..

I don't think I have even been in a state that has as many churches as AR.

Look at any pole barn or store front and you can bet that it has

been or will be a church. The odd thing is some of the churches are H U G E

and have monster parking lots.. Then you find out the "preacher" has put all of this in his name .

If they spent as much on school as they do on churches , this would

be a good place to raise kids. Right now the

schools are rated so low , that

never mind -- I don't need to get myself started again...

Just a short note tonight .

Fluffy (my truck) is home and she is looking GOOD !!!

Sunday Night

It was a lazy day for me

I actually slept most of the night last night.. What a relief.

We went to Red Lobster for dinner tonight-- I was due

for a seafood fix. Only problem- the damn place was so

cold you needed long underware and mittens.. Jeez!!

**

I asked the waitress what time the penguin show would start.

That finally got us about 3 min of somewhat

warmer temps. It will be fall before we go back to that place

and we will take winter clothing.

**

Okay, I'll admit it

I have a new addiction

**

LESPORTSAC purses, tote bags,

cosmetic bags and weekenders.

**

So anybody that has them just sitting in the

closet or basement-- Box them up and send them to me

I can pay for them , but keep the price low and

remember that I am not to proud to accept donations..lol

3 a.m.

Here are the latest pictures of Jack Thomas

He went for his 4 month check up on May 26.

He is a happy , healthy , normal PERFECT baby boy !!!

17 pounds and 24" tall

HELLO INSOMNIA

What can you do at 3 a.m. - not very damn much !!

I am wide awake and have had a sleeping pill -

that was at 11:30 so I guess I will write..

I would scan but am afraid the noise would wake Tom.

He is going to an auction today, but he has somebody

coming to look at the hot tub cover at 7am.It was hail

damaged last year and it really does need to be redone.

**

Serena & John have had some lookers - hopefully

the house will sell fast and they can relocate with a

minimum of stress. It will be so nice to have

them closer.

**

I think I will end this for now and sort thru the stack

of junk mail that is laying on my chair.

If I am not bored to sleep by that project, there is no

chance for sleep tonight .
